The electric grid is an engineering marvel: a vast and complex machine that connects us all and powers the essential devices we use every day. Designed more than a century ago, the grid functions like a one-way highway, with electricity flowing from power plants to cities and towns — and it’s grown increasingly complex.
Today’s grid looks more like a multidirectional superhighway, with millions of new devices—from home solar panels to electric vehicles—pushing and pulling energy across it at all times.
Because the grid wasn’t built to sustain today’s demands, there aren’t adequate tools to see, manage or plan it. Information is siloed between dozens of different organizations, and no one has a complete picture of the grid.
To transition to a reliable, affordable and sustainable grid, the world needs a shared understanding of how we make, move, and use electricity.

Grid Planning Tool
The Grid Planning Tool is an end-to-end solution that empowers grid operators to do large-scale, long-term grid simulation at hourly resolutions that allows for more efficient planning and reliable interconnection of diverse energy sources.
Before grid operators can make big decisions on energy infrastructure investments— like upgrading transmission lines or approving a new grid connection—they must run hundreds of simulations that model a range of different scenarios, sometimes decades into the future. For example, what if there was a low wind day during a heat wave, causing a spike in power usage?
Tapestry's Grid Planning Tool transforms this complex process, enabling grid operators to simulate scenarios with unprecedented speed and granularity, accelerating timelines from weeks to days, while identifying the most affordable, reliable, low carbon solutions.

GridAware
GridAware is a set of intelligence, planning, and operations tools to map and modernize the distribution grid. To maintain the health of the grid, utilities need to constantly monitor their vast network of poles, transformers, and power lines, often relying on manual inspections that are time-consuming and costly. GridAware changes that.Tapestry’s AI-powered tools automate the inspection process, using image recognition and machine learning to identify potential problems like sagging power lines or damaged equipment before they cause an outage. This allows utilities to proactively address issues, improve grid reliability, and reduce maintenance costs — ultimately saving money and keeping the lights on for their communities.

Before joining X, Page held roles as a go-to-market and commercial leader at several start-ups, two of which (Sunrun and Konfio) attained “unicorn” status. She was co-CEO and founder of Clarus Power, a venture-backed residential solar customer acquisition platform. She was recognized as one of the top 50 Climate Tech Operators in the 2021 Climate Draft.
Director of Technical Operations
Andy served as President and CEO of PJM Interconnection, the largest power grid in North America and the largest electricity market in the world. Andy is internationally recognized as an expert in electricity market design and power system operation, and has testified as a technical expert in the U.S. congress as well as in numerous legislative and regulatory proceedings.
Chief Technology Officer
Ravi held several roles developing groundbreaking technological products, including AI for Meta’s Metaverse and the ML platform for Amazon’s Alexa. He served as CTO at Vulcan Inc., Director of Mobile Advertising at Google, and Senior Scientist at Bellcore. Ravi is an IEEE Fellow, which recognizes achievements in electrical engineering, and is an advisor to VC firms and startups.
