Hans Peter leads The Everyday Robot Project at X. He has spent his career at the intersection of technology innovation and people empowerment, founding and leading several venture-backed technology companies over the past 30 years. Prior to X, Hans Peter was a senior executive at Nokia/HERE where he co-led a new product innovation business unit with teams in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Oulu (Finland), Berlin and China. In addition to founding and selling several technology companies he also held positions at Apple in Tokyo and at CERN (the Center for European Nuclear Research) in Geneva. He is the author of the NYT best selling book The Engaged Customer, and has been a guest lecturer at the MIT Media Lab and Cambridge University. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and was in the graduate degree programs at the Media Lab and in the Technology and Policy Program at MIT. When he’s not wrangling robots, Hans Peter can frequently be found on a mountaintop or behind a lens.
