Anori

X's moonshot to make building and development faster, more affordable and more efficient.

Current Project

Anori is X’s moonshot for building and development. The Anori team is creating a new platform to accelerate housing and commercial development by untangling the complexities of architectural design, zoning, permitting, and project finance. By aligning developers, architects, and cities on a single platform from day one, Anori’s vision is to transform siloed work into shared, buildable projects. The goal is to make the process of building dramatically faster, less costly and more efficient.

What if we had a better way to plan and make smarter, faster building decisions?

A global housing crisis is accelerating, and our systems are struggling to keep up. Nearly 3 billion people may lack adequate housing by 2030, while 90% of global cities are unaffordable for the average person.

There are many complex reasons for this crisis. But one of the biggest bottlenecks isn’t laying bricks; it’s the invisible, inefficient process that happens before breaking ground. The development phase—which can add years to construction timelines—is a fragmented maze of disciplines that includes navigating architectural design, zoning, permitting, financing, and regulatory hurdles. Projects often stall, and costs can spiral out of control, as critical information remains trapped in silos and teams are forced to work sequentially rather than collaboratively.

Untangling the Complexities of Development

Our team at Anori is creating a new AI platform to address the challenges of misalignment in the development process. We’re building a unified digital environment where developers, architects, city planners, and investors can co-create from the earliest stages of a project. Instead of relying on a slow, sequential exchange of incompatible files and siloed information, Anori aims to bring all stakeholders and their data into one shared space, creating a single source of truth that evolves in real-time as decisions are made.

The platform's core capability is its power to synthesize complexity and make it actionable. The Anori platform is designed to connect the highly multi-modal data common in building development, from dense municipal zoning codes and architectural CAD files to financial pro formas.

By creating an intelligent, dynamic model of a potential project, the Anori team aims to help everyone affiliated instantly understand the impact of each decision. For example, an architect could adjust a building's height and immediately see the consequences on construction costs, the number of affordable units, and its compliance with local regulations.

Anori aligns developers, architects, municipalities and more in a shared platform from day one.

A Shared, Buildable Vision

By bringing all constraints to the forefront simultaneously, Anori aims to support real estate developers, architects, city planning teams and investors to make better decisions faster.  Anori’s platform breaks the traditional paradigm, in which an architect's plan is handed off to an engineer, who then passes it to a permitting specialist, with friction and rework at every step. The team built this integrated approach to allow for rapid prototyping and scenario testing, empowering teams to explore a wider range of design possibilities and identify the optimal path forward.

Anori is creating a new system to help cities, architects and developers make better decisions together. By aligning people, processes and policies from day one, Anori aims to offer a pathway to faster development timelines and smarter city planning for communities around the world.

Anori rapidly generates and evaluates site plans and building designs across multiple dimensions including functionality, financials and compliance.
