About the role:
Tapestry is looking for a Technical Program Manager to help increase the effectiveness of how our Engineering, Product, and Operations teams work together as we prepare our product for commercialization. This role will support the day-to-day progress of our Software development, align both Software & Hardware efforts with commercial and product priorities, and drive efficiency. This is an incredibly dynamic role and requires high cross-functional communication, organization, and planning. The ideal candidate has hands-on programming experience, experience scaling modern cloud platforms at an enterprise scale, & experience with Agile best practices.
How you will make 10x impact:

Lead program management for a fast paced, highly innovative software development team, including workload balancing, leading engineering sprints, structuring meetings, overseeing and tracking workstreams supporting the program goals, and helping to create project goals as well as carefully track progress against them

Work hand-in-hand with our Engineering and cross-functional teams to keep software efforts in alignment with commercial priorities and organize bugs/feature requests into our product backlog.

Identify and escalate risks, drive decision making,and ensure prioritization of key development tasks

Proactively identify problems and issues and create programs and processes to solve them

Guide the team through the learning and changes inherent in early product development, set the right expectations with stakeholders , and ensure best practices are followed.

Understand customer priorities and translate into Engineering impact to provide input on timelines and feasibility

Drive velocity, efficiency, and teamwork
What you should have:
-
B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

At least 5 years of project/program management or product development experience.

Experience driving a program from prototype to maturity at an enterprise scale.

Experience in platform convergence effort, establish a comprehensive data governance framework, and manage foundational platform initiatives.

Excellent communication, organizational, written and analytical skills

Track record of successful implementation of TPM processes in engineering organizations.
It’d be great if you had these:

Masters degree in engineering disciplines, or equivalent practical experience

Experience working on, or passion for, the energy sector or sustainability

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done

Experience with SQL, Object Oriented Programming, ML, and/or Cloud Platform Administration.

Experience working in a startup-like environment
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 - $180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
