About the Role

Tapestry’s Business Operations team installs, supports, promotes the strong business practices we need to both grow and scale. We lead planning, reporting, and optimize Tapestry's operational rhythms. Additionally, we drive critical special projects across the company that advance Tapestry's strategic goals and execution.

In this role, you will wear multiple hats, and will own various analytical and operational initiatives. You will work closely with Tapestry’s executive team to estimate market sizes, build economic models, and facilitate decisions with leadership.

You are enthusiastic and a self-starter, wanting to design new and enhance existing processes; scoping, designing, and implementing new and scalable processes to support growth. You are an excellent team player and you can partner with any function and level to deliver value, always starting with intelligent and empathetic questions. You have expertise in the world of electric grids and are passionate about solving its bottlenecks.

How You'll Make a 10X Impact

  • Build and manage materials for Tapestry’s board of directors within Alphabet and other external stakeholders
  • Lead critical analysis to evaluate Tapestry's performance and guide capital allocation, financial efficiency, and governance.

  • Partner with Legal, Policy, Privacy, Marketing/PR, Operations, and other teams to mitigate non-technical risks for Tapestry.

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the electricity industry at a developer, grid operator, utility, consulting group, a growing start-up, or other grid ecosystem player.
  • A strong track record in a relevant role within management consulting, corporate development, finance, data and analytics, investment banking, or a similar environment, including proven project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating complex business and quantitative analyses. You can effectively translate "from spreadsheet to slidedeck" to present compelling insights to operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
