About the Team:
X’s marketing and communications team is a passionate squad of creative thinkers tasked with shaping and sharing our moonshot ideas through storytelling, brand building, design, multimedia content, experiences and events. We partner cross-functionally with leaders across the Moonshot Factory to support a broad range of project explorations, diving deep into complex technologies and scientific fields to surface inspiring ideas and stories.
About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate and versatile Marcomms Specialist to join our team. As a recent graduate, you'll dive head first into a dynamic environment where you'll wear many hats and play a crucial role in supporting the brand voice and visibility of our moonshot projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing and communications disciplines and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
How you will make 10X impact:
- Content Creation:
- Craft engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a content calendar.
- Proofread and edit content for accuracy and clarity.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow our social media presence across relevant platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging social media content.
- Develop and run creative campaigns.
- Communications Support:
- Assist in developing project messaging.
- Assist in planning and drafting key announcements.
- Manage speaking calendars and assist with preparations for keynote talks.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events.
- Assist with materials creation and maintain creative assets.
- Update website content and assist in basic maintenance.
- Liaise with external agency support.
- General Support:
- Assist with other tasks as needed, demonstrating a "no task too small" attitude.
- Be a flexible and adaptive team member, able to pivot quickly.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of all comms & marketing documentation, media libraries, and digital file storage.
What you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Joy in learning new technologies, taking smart risks, and working across multiple teams.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000 - $120,000 + bonuses+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
