About the role
We are looking for a creative People Experience program manager who has the passion to develop teams and leaders - someone who puts employee experience first and foremost above everything. They have an eye for what creates the most productive environment for employees, and they hold experience curating technical onboarding programs and org-wide L&D programs end to end. They can identify gaps and needs in an employee’s lifecycle that are critical for an employee to be their most productive and fullest self, and they get excited in coming up with innovative ideas. This role will have the freedom to create impact for a high-growth org that is passionate about a greener future - they play a key role in creating an exciting culture that attracts mission-aligned and diverse talent.
What you should have:
- 5+ years of work experience within People Programs, HR, consulting, or related field
- Experience creating initiatives for new employee onboarding, manager development, inclusion and diversity, and future talent pipelines for the organization (eg. interns)
- Track record of being able to find opportunities to improve employee development through change and creativity and implementing solutions with high impact
- Ability to operate independently, managing multiple complex stakeholder relationships, and execute at a high level of quality
- Ability to creatively resource in startup-like environments
- A strong preference for innovation, iteration, and pushing the envelope of what great learning programs look like.
- Ability to use data to define and track success, and also to identify priorities and to influence leaders at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It’d be great if you had these:
- Deep facilitation experience at all levels of leadership and new hire audiences
- Ability to draft communications and build presentations for socialization, status reports, executive updates, meetings, annual planning, etc.
- A “builders” mentality and the ability to work under ambiguity delivering learning programs that fit current and future business needs
- Ability to illustrate impact of people programs and experiences through data and aligning them to our business priorities
- A passion for decarbonizing the electric grid
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
