DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • To be placed on one of our confidential or public X projects

DETAILS:

  • Laptops and equipment will be provided
  • Duration: a flexible 3 months to 6 months program based on project team needs and your availability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a PhD or Masters program and working towards completing your degree

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Improve software and ML models with sensor, spectral signal and image input in an industrial setting where latency is critical.
  • Prototype aforementioned improvements working with Software and Hardware team members.
  • Prepare a testing and analysis strategy for the prototypes in order to compare different approaches.
  • Engage with the team and Residency/Internship community during the program
  • Bringing your unique perspective to the team’s culture :)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing MS or PhD in relevant fields: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning.
  • Experience with coding in higher level languages, preferably C++ and Python.
  • Comfortable working in a Linux system environment.
  • Interest in sustainability, recycling, circular economy problems: passion for solving real world problems related to climate.
  • Hard working, self driven and open minded.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with a lot of unknowns, rapid change (startup alike) and diversity of backgrounds - they should be good in cross-functional communication.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Machine learning practical experience, especially related to image, signal and sensor data processing.
  • Experience building software integrating with hardware in industrial settings.
  • Experience working with rgb cameras, hyperspectral cameras and sensors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $101,000 - $141,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
