About the Team:
The X Legal team works on the most exciting legal issues since our moonshots require creative and proactive guidance. We challenge ourselves to think big and differently in providing solutions and strategies for our clients- at X, the legal team can be audacious too! Our team aims to accelerate X while demonstrating values of respect, wellbeing, creativity, integrity and continued development.
About the role:
As Legal Operations lead for X, you are central to driving and supporting the legal department’s operational excellence and efficiency. You will manage the legal department’s finances, vendors and outside counsel spend, technology solutions, knowledge management and document management tools, as well as manage the patent portfolio and all tools, processes and operations that support it. You are a driving force behind the success of the team, the lead of legal and patent operations, communications, competitive intelligence, and jack-of-all trades. You create and improve processes, maintain records, conduct legal and market research and coordinate communications between the legal team and X organization, including cross-functional partners in finance, partnerships, and real estate. You're an independent thinker who isn't afraid to ask questions, a do-it-yourselfer and you're organized in a way that never overlooks the details.
