About the role:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will lead and construct critical components of our hardware to test software infrastructure. You’ll be adding features to our automated test framework, writing drivers for our test hardware, and tests for our tests. You'll innovate and make an impact on a growing project, working alongside a diverse group of Engineers, Designers, Software Engineers, and Technicians.
How you will make 10X Impact:
Develop, validate, deploy, and manage test stations for software validation. Create and maintain stations, and stay in sync with the internal test community.
Work with the design and controls engineering teams to identify requirements and develop specifications for calibration, characterization and quality control tests.
Analyze test data to extract key performance metrics and insights for design improvements.
Work with embedded SW team to uncover bugs and ensure SW releases are well tested before field deployment. Manage the SW release process.
What you should have:
BS in Computer Science, or an engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in Software Test Engineering on hardware products.
4 years of programming experience in Python. Experience in C/C++, and working in a Linux environment including automation, scripting, and testing.
2 years of experience in direct test/manufacturing.
It’d be great if you also had these:
MS degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with focus on mechatronic systems or robotics.
Experience dealing with low-level communication protocols for embedded systems.
Experience developing automated test equipment, or automating tests for hardware systems.
