Mountain View, CA (HQ)
As the X People Operations team (POps), it’s our mission to Attract, Accelerate, and Launch these moonshots into the real world. Due to the smaller size of our organization and the rapid pace of change, every Xer plays a critical role in the success of these moonshots. The X POps team not only executes programs and operations that accelerate the business, but we also are trusted thought partners to help make business-critical decisions.
Our team is comprised of former Google, Executive Search, Agency and Start-up recruiters, sourcers and program managers. All of us came to X having never worked at an incubator like it. All of us had a learning curve trying to determine what the heck a nanoparticle researcher or mechanism designer does. Though we all started in recruiting at different times, we share a common drive to learn and make our clients’ lives easier. Whether it’s advising them on their first non-tech hire or building out their intern program, we get the job done.
At X, we strongly believe that true innovation stagnates in the absence of representation. We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our growing team and help shape X's future by defining and executing a strategy to fill the talent pipeline with people from all backgrounds.
About X, the moonshot factory
X creates radical new technologies to solve some of the world’s biggest problems. We develop uncomfortably ambitious, potentially world-changing new ideas such as self-driving cars, balloon-powered Internet and smart contact lenses. We’re a team of makers, entrepreneurs, engineers, designers and scientists with deep technical expertise who love the challenge of the seemingly impossible. We believe that a culture of psychological safety creates the foundation of trust and respect necessary to build moonshots. X was formerly known as Google[x] and is part of Alphabet.
At X, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
